Rezarus Web Account Management — Now Live
June marked a shift in focus for Rezarus. While the game itself remains actively maintained, the majority of development is now directed outward — building the infrastructure and online presence that helps new players discover, understand, and invest in Rezarus. To begin, we roll out a functional web interface for account creation and management.

Website & Account Management
The account portal is now live. Players may now create an account directly through the website and manage it without needing to go through any in-game client. Here's a summary of what's now available:
- Account info — your current rank, account age, and Rez Token balance are displayed at a glance at the top of the account page.
- Profile — update your username, set or change your password, assign and verify an email address that you may subscribe to the Rezarus Monthly Newsletter, and link your Discord and Steam accounts. Discord linking is tied to the Rezarus Discord flair reward, and Steam linking unlocks a one-time 500 Rez Token claim for players who leave a Steam review after reaching Lance Corporal.
- Stats management — zero your account stats when you want a clean slate, with the option to restore them to end-of-prior-day values before midnight CST if you change your mind. This gives players full control over their stat history without permanent consequences.
The account system is functional and actively used — if you run into anything unexpected, the community section below is the place to flag it.
Steam Linking Updated
Steam accounts can now be linked to and unlinked from any Rez Account, effectively merging the two. This allows you to use Steam authentication on any standard Rezarus account, while retaining the ability to log in without Steam — one account, both login options. A Steam account is linkable to one account at a time.
Subscriptions & Rez Tokens
A preview of the subscription tiers and Rez Token packs is up on the account page — you can browse the tiers and see what each includes, but purchasing is not yet enabled. The infrastructure is being put in place first to make sure everything is solid before any real transactions go through.
Community input here is genuinely valued. Pricing, what perks belong at which level — these are all still open questions. If something looks off or you have an idea for what would make a tier worth subscribing to, please say so in our Discord. This is the stage where that feedback actually shapes the final result.
Rez Tokens will eventually enable cosmetic purchases on new tank models, offer users to one-time bypass certain subscription limitations like account renaming, and more. The subscription will come first, and then Rez Token purchases later.

Battle Pass
The Battle Pass section on the account page is a preview — a working mockup of what the Rez Pass could look like. Milestone rewards, score thresholds, unlock tracking — it's all there as a proof of concept, not a finalized system.
The thinking behind it is straightforward: stats are a great measure of play, but a progression system that rewards long-term investment with things you actually want to unlock is a different kind of motivation entirely. People tend to want more of what they can't have yet — and a well-designed pass gives players something to work toward beyond the scoreboard. It's one of the more obvious ways to deepen account identity and keep players coming back.
If you have ideas for what should be on the pass — specific rewards, categories, milestone thresholds — share them. The community is the right place to figure out what would actually be desirable to chase, and that input will directly inform how the real Rez Pass gets built.
Alpha accounts who have reached Sergeant rank or higher will be allowed to bypass the Rez Pass if they wish.
Worth clarifying: the Rez Pass is not a pay-to-win or pay-to-advance mechanic. Standard loadouts tend to be the most well-rounded options in any mode regardless — good balance of firepower and support, favored by experienced players for a reason. Where the Rez Pass will have the most influence is in Laser Wars and especially Total Wars CTF, where the wider module selection creates more room for play variety. More options to unlock, more ways to play — but not a shortcut to winning. Mode unlocks serve a similar purpose — modes like Impulse No-Heal and especially Total Wars CTF have a higher skill floor, and easing new players through the basics before opening up the deeper end of the pool makes for a better experience all around. Learn to move, maneuver, and aim first. Then start playing with the options that become available.
Future Work
Future Work
One bigger goal on the account side is allowing multiple accounts to be assigned to the same email address or Steam login. Right now it's one account per email or Steam login, which could be limiting for players who would like separate accounts for different purposes (or ratios). The plan is to tie this to the subscription tier — something like the free tier allowing one account per email or Steam login, while higher tiers expand that limit. Elite, for example, might allow up to five accounts linked to a single email or Steam account. The specifics aren't locked in yet, but the direction is clear. You can imagine logging into the game, and then have a list of handles to select and proceed with.
Continued focus will go into the website and content. The long-term goal is for Rezarus to appear near the top when someone searches "free online tank game" — and while we don't know exactly what it takes to get there, a website with strong SEO is the obvious starting point. More blog content, better-structured pages, and consistent updates all feed into that. It's a slow build — but honestly the tools that AI now offers makes this possible in a timely manner. Expect things like arena specific pages, an actual options manual, better styled stat pages and more this summer for the Rezarus website.

The Call To Community
A common question we get is: what needs testing? For this update, the priority is verifying that the web account management works correctly. Create new accounts, verify emails, link Discord and Steam accounts, zero and restore stats — whatever you can do! And don't worry about breaking your account, we'll be able to rollback to an earlier state within a day or week if needed.
