# About Our Game

WELCOME TO REZARUS

Rezarus is a futuristic online, first-person tank game solo developed running in Unity's latest engine, Unity 6. The game pits teams of 3-10 up against one another in arcade style futuristic tank warfare with one goal in mind: to destroy without being destroyed. And while that goal is simple, gameplay may be complex at times. And so, this site is intended to be a game resource for players, both new and old. Rezarus is playable for free and will be entering its early access stage on Steam in Q4 2024.

Want to contribute?

  • Get the word out!! Being a free-to-play game means there's no real commitment aside from some time.
  • Capture action packed media. The more we can show off to potential newcomers the better.
  • New arenas effectively function as new content. Anyone may do so through Unity with the UModeler package which is $62 during a 50% Unity store sale - an investment that will save you a lot of time.
  • Direct contributions to the Early Access campaign which will be live soon.

SERVER VALIDATION

Develop robust but efficient server validation methods enabling low-latency client control while enforcing fair gameplay. Basic methods detecting the obvious as well as machine learning to detect the more subtle makes it possible for Rezarus to end up a self-sustained AI-moderated game.

DUEL ARENAS

We need an environment to settle individual scores, and preferably with strict rules that players may decide. This is where duel arenas would come in. Developing and testing player configurable arenas will take some time and effort. But the end result will be worth it as you'll have somewhere to 3-0 your opponent!

ACHIEVEMENT BADGES

Progression can be represented in more than just overall rank or ratio. How about those who complete useful team oriented tasks such as capturing reload station pads or flags on a consistent basis? Because while overall score may tell you how much a player has played, achivements will say a lot about how frequently one plays along with what objectives that player gravitates toward - useful metrics to consider recruiting for your team. Oh, and they'll also eventually earn rewards like customizable tank skins too!
